  3. In this folder are all of the files that you need to start building your own company's database.  
  4.  
  5. The folders are :
  6.  
  7. *  Your Company Folder  - An initialized database with no entries.  Add your information in this database.  You should rename this folder to reflect your actual company name
  8.  
  9. * MacPOS Help - The complete set of the MacPOS help files.
  10.  
  11. MacPOS Utilities - Utility programs used with MacPOS
  12.  
  13. If you have not already downloaded the demo/trial version of MacPOS, please do and follow examples in that database to learn the features of MacPOS.

  15. Step 1
  16. • Download the latest MacPOS update from our web site if you have not already done so.  This will contain the latest version of MacPOS to work with the above files.

  18. • If you have the demo version of MacPOS on your hard drive please follow Step 2 below or continue to Step 3.

  20. Step 2
  21. • Remove the MacPOS Demo Application from your drive.
  22. • Move the * Demo Data Folder and the Help folder so it is not accidentally accessed and mistaken for your company folder.

  25. • Open the Read Me in the MacPOS Update Folder and follow the instructions from there.
